Regional Trophy at DWWA

At this year's Decanter World Wine Awards, Béres 6p Aszú of 2008 won a Regional Trophy.
Tokaji wines have been awarded a total of 32 medals, including one Regional Trophy, at this year's Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA). The results were published on Decanter.com at 10 pm UK time on Tuesday 24th June following the Awards ceremony at The Blue Fin Building, London on the same day.
A Regional Trophy went to Erdőbénye-based Béres Winery for the 6p Aszú of 2008.
Tokaj's 32 awardees came from a total of 17 producers and included 11 dry/off-dry wines alongside the traditionally successful sweet contenders, 15 of which were Aszús.
Decanter World Wine Awards was founded in 2004 and has since gained a reputation as one of the the world's largest and most influential wine competitions, attracting over 15,000 entries this year.
